As a young girl who taught herself to code in middle school and a college student who took accounting just for fun, it makes sense that I would find myself serving a software company in the finer details!
My background doesn't fit in one box, and my time at Level 12 has only added more flavors to it. I oversee the administrative and operational side for Level 12 and a range of clients: bookkeeping and taxes, HR, compliance, legal and contracts, and executive support, among other things. I care about getting systems, processes, and numbers right and about the people they're ultimately for.
I'm a certified Salesforce administrator with consulting experience in nonprofit organizations, so I'm equally comfortable in a chart of accounts and a CRM. My academic background is in counseling and theology, meaning that I'm always thinking about the person on the other side of that process. I've also spent over a decade planning and executing events ranging from intimate dinner parties to hundreds of attendees—I hold a lot of moving pieces without dropping them and live and die by a good function sheet.
Outside of work, you'll find me exploring a new local shop or restaurant, doing some plant chores, thrifting, stitching, redecorating for the fifth time, or trying a new recipe.
I really wanted to parse the difference in semantics between “nerd” and “geek” to answer this question, so that probably tells you the answer. :)
I’m not a bumper sticker person myself, but I can appreciate the especially witty ones.
Spend time with people I love, serve my church more, garden, travel, and find ways to make what I love doing into work!
Time spent with extended family
I love that in five years these answers haven't changed: I genuinely love making people’s lives easier and doing it well. I genuinely do NOT love not being able to bake for the office.

"This job has been given to me to do. Therefore, it is a gift. Therefore, it is a privilege. Therefore, it is an offering I may make to God. Therefore, it is to be done gladly, if it is done for Him. Here, not somewhere else, I may learn God’s way. In this job, not in some other, God looks for faithfulness." – Elisabeth Elliot
Lay down my life to serve the Lord and those around me
